How Each Product Works
Comp Safe Chalk
Use Comp Safe Chalk when you need a clean, non-tacky grip. It is a low-residue chalk replacement for gyms, competitions, bars, rigs, handles, implements, and chalk-restricted environments.
X-Dry
Use X-Dry when sweat is the problem. It helps prep the hands before applying Comp Safe Chalk or Griptan Tacky, especially in hot, humid, or high-sweat conditions.
X-Dry Alcohol Free
Use X-Dry Alcohol Free for everyday training, moderate sweat, or when you prefer an alcohol-free prep option.
Remover
Use Remover after training or competition to help clean grip residue from hands. It is the reset step that helps make serious grip easier to manage.
Cold Tacky
Use Cold Tacky when temperatures are under 50°F, when your hands are dry, or when standard tacky feels too stiff to activate.
50–85 Tacky
Use 50–85 Tacky for most normal training and competition days. It is the balanced, standard-condition formula for moderate weather.
85+ Tacky
Use 85+ Tacky when conditions are hot, humid, sunny, or sweaty. It has a drier, firmer feel for high-heat environments.
How to Use the Complete Arena Kit
For Sweaty Hands
- Start with clean hands.
- Apply X-Dry or X-Dry Alcohol Free to palms and fingertips.
- Rub in evenly.
- Allow to fully dry.
- Apply Comp Safe Chalk or the correct Griptan Tacky for the conditions.
For Clean, Non-Tacky Grip
- Start with clean, dry hands.
- Apply 1–3 pumps of Comp Safe Chalk to palms and fingertips.
- Rub evenly until a light film forms.
- Allow 30–40 seconds to dry before gripping equipment.
- Reapply lightly as needed.
For Tacky Grip
- Select Cold, 50–85, or 85+ Tacky based on the day’s temperature and conditions.
- Start with clean, dry hands.
- If hands are sweaty, apply X-Dry first and allow it to fully dry.
- Warm a small amount of tacky between palms and fingers.
- Apply a thin, even layer to the desired contact areas.
- Add small amounts as needed.
For Cleanup
- Apply a small amount of Remover to palms and fingertips.
- Rub hands together to loosen residue.
- Wipe clean with a towel.
- Wash your hands with soap and water when available.

- Use Remover after grip product use to help clean hands and reduce transfer.
Precautions, Warnings & Safety
For external use only. Use only on one hand unless otherwise approved by the gym, venue, equipment owner, or event organizer.
Avoid the eyes, mouth, open cuts, broken skin, and irritated skin. Do not ingest. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Discontinue use if redness, irritation, rash, burning, or discomfort occurs.
Some products in this kit may contain ingredients that can cause sensitivity in certain individuals, including rosin, waxes, oils, lanolin, alcohol, or other grip-support ingredients. If you have sensitive skin or known allergies, test a small amount first before full use.
Original X-Dry and Comp Safe Chalk may be flammable until fully dry. Keep away from fire, sparks, heat sources, cigarettes, grills, torches, and open flame. Allow the product to fully dry before using the equipment.
Tacky grip products may be restricted by certain gyms, venues, federations, promoters, competitions, or facilities. Always confirm the rules before applying Cold Tacky, 50–85 Tacky, or 85+ Tacky.
Do not apply grip products to shared equipment unless permitted. If using Remover on equipment or implements, test on a small hidden area first and follow the equipment owner’s rules. Apply Remover to a towel rather than directly onto sensitive surfaces.
Grip products may transfer to clothing, bags, vehicle interiors, gym equipment, implements, flooring, and other surfaces. Use sparingly, wipe excess residue, and clean up after use.
